World Changers

This year, Camille and her family supported the Epilepsy Foundation’s World Changers event in Washington, D.C. which honored Epilepsy heroes. The World Changers Awards Gala recognizes and salutes members of these communities – including world changing medical experts, innovators, industry leaders and advocates. Bringing these communities together is one way the Epilepsy Foundation leads the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy.

Honorees included our very own Dr. Antonio Escueta, a leading neurologist at UCLA Medical Center and Congressman Steny Hoyer for his leadership with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and the Amendments Act of 2008. Tony Coehlo, Former Congressman and author of the ADA (pictured above), introduced Congressman Hoyer.
