EEG
This June, Camille had a follow up EEG which delivered exciting news. Camille’s seizures are now fully controlled! As background, as an infant, Camille had hundreds of seizures daily and was diagnosed with an intractable form of epilepsy called West Syndrome. After attempting various medications and treatments, Camille seizures were finally controlled with an investigational treatment - intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIg) in 2005. Last summer, Camille’s seizures returned and she began having dozens of seizures daily. Now, with an increase of her IVIg dosage, Camille has reclaimed seizure control.
