EEG

Camille was admitted to the hospital for a follow up EEG to monitor her seizure activity. We were hopeful that the latest medication treatment (high dose Valium) would be effective in eradicating the Electrical Status Epilepticus in Sleep (ESES). Unfortunately, she is still having nearly constant sub-clinical seizures at night. We continue to work with our wonderful team of medical professionals at UCLA to search for a solution. In the meantime, these seizures impact Camille’s ability to learn and develop. But in spite of these obstacles, Camille continues to do her best and is the hardest worker we know.
